Good morning!
We have a couple of very busy school weeks leading up to the Christmas Break.
This week, in Grade 5:
Wednesday, December 10th: Wacky Christmas Sweater Day and Peer Mentors, Preview of the Scholastic Book Fair
Thursday, December 11th: BMV (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.), Scholastic Book Fair in the Library, and Skating (Leave the school at 1:00, Return at approximately 3:00pm)
Friday, December 12th: Carolling Field Trip to Shuswap Lodge and Askews, Scholastic Book Fair in the Library (Students will have the opportunity to shop at 11:30 - 12:00 this day), Half-day (Dismissal at 12:10), Parent-Teacher Interviews
The Week of December 15-18:
Tuesday and Thursday: Christmas Concert practices
Tuesday, December 16th: KCS K-5 Christmas Market
Wednesday, December 17th: Grade 5 Secret Santa and class Christmas party in the afternoon
Thursday, December 18th: Christmas Concert performances at 1:30 and 6:00. Please have students at school for 5:30 for the evening performance. Every voice matters! Please do your best to have your child there. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend one of the performances. Consider attending the afternoon performance if you are able (It is much quieter)!
Friday, December 19th: No School, Have a VERY, MERRY CHRISTMAS! May it be blessed in every possible way and may we be thankful for the gift of JESUS!
